Nikki Baksh: The Movement®

A living body of work rooted in ritual, rhythm, and remembrance

This is not a method. It is memory rising

A practice of presence, not of performance

A living body of work

A devotional return

Born from the sacred residue of a life danced fully—through industry, intimacy, injury, and initiation

Journey Inward

Start where the roots are deep.

This is the groundwork.

Courses offer an initiation into the energetic body—

A weaving of chakra theory, emotional intelligence, and ancient yogic wisdom.

Begin here to remember the architecture of your being—

Before you move, feel.

Before you perform, understand.

Audio-based movement practices are designed for deep somatic experiences.

Just your body, your breath, and my voice—leading you home.

This transformative Sacred Arts practice blends embodied movement, sacred sound, and the vibrant energy of Trinidad’s cultural roots. Rooted in yoga science and somatic intelligence, each session supports emotional release, presence, and personal restoration.

Through guided movement, rhythm, and intention, you’ll reawaken the body’s innate wisdom—no mirrors, no performance, no pressure. Just presence.

Reflections

from the Sanctuary

Sunset

No MUD, No LOTUS

𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗸𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗵: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁® birthed during a time of deep personal healing.

I took a sabbatical from the professional world of commercial Dance & Acting to focus inward and allow the fragmented pieces of myself to find each other. The marriage of Yoga and Natya (The Arts) allowed my life to become a beautiful array of new Artwork, like Japanese Kintsugi.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁® became my truest ally, where I met and united all of the various parts of myself.

Use the body to transcend the body.

Use the mind to transcend the mind.

Use this practice to reconnect the landscape of your emotional subtle body to your beautiful physical body.

Movement is Medicine.

Wisdom is meant to move freely—through breath, rhythm, body, and soul. By sustaining this sanctuary, you help keep the healing arts alive and accessible: dance, meditation, yoga science, and somatic storytelling offered without gatekeeping.

Your gift supports global movement—cross-cultural rhythms, ancestral remembrance, education, and spiritual clarity for all who enter. A dollar becomes a doorway. A moment of movement made possible.
