The Eight Limbs of Yoga: An Embodied Path for Artists
This morning, 240 people showed up for Bryant Park Yoga.
And then it rained.
For the next few minutes, we were making decisions in real time. Maybe five more minutes. Maybe ten. The rain would let up, then come back. The ground was wet. There was equipment and electricity to consider. Producers were telling us it was time to wrap. And 240 people were looking to us to navigate it all.

This month, we explore Smṛti (स्मृति)—the yogic practice of remembering.
Not remembering as simply recalling information, but remembering as a return to the deeper awareness beneath conditioning, fear, and adaptation.
I believe:
Yoga is the vehicle. Artistry is the destination.
And for artists, remembering who we are beneath the noise may be one of the most important creative practices we can cultivate.
