Yoga was originally taught and personally passed on from teacher to student. Experience a uniquely curated session of your choosing based on your needs. Receiving personal guidance and wisdom based on our specific needs often requires help from mantra, breath work, or simply viewing things from a different perspective. This is precisely what a dharma session means. Dharma translates from Sanskrit into 'life purpose' in English. While Yoga in the Western is often viewed as being asana or posture dominant, this could not be further from the truth. Dharma sessions are an integral part* of experiencing Yogic wisdom and are based on ancient texts and philosophy. Dharma sessions provide clarity for the seeker. a mantra may be given to the practitioner to awaken and shed light from within. During this tailor made session, Nikki will focus on which modality you feel best serves your needs. If you initially book a Yoga session and on the day of your session you feel the need to have a dharma, meditation, or arts related practice instead, this is entirely OKAY. Just specify how you are feeling when the session begins. Attuning to our needs can result in a transformative shift instantaneoulsy.
